Millenium Square bringing some spice to Leeds

Last weekend I went to a 21st birthday meal at Spice Quarter in Millenium Square. I had never been to the restaurant before and I don’t usually like all you can eat buffets so was quite apprehensive, especially because it is 15 pounds a head on a weekend.
When we arrived, I was pleasently surprised at the layout of the restaurant. There is a large bar downstairs, the dimmed lighting and large cushioned booths give a relaxed yet sexy vibe and there is also a large heated terrace that links onto the back of the other bars and restaurants, creating a very social scene. The restaurant was situated on the top floor of the venue and immediately when walking in you are aware of the large selection of food available. A wide range including, Indian, Thai, Italian, Chinese and to top it off, a make your own pizza station, not forgetting a large selection of deserts to choose from. The food was also of high quality which highly surprised me. I found myself having two plates at once and swapping between mouthfuls. One plate consisted of a beautiful butter chicken curry and the other of a pizza for which I chose my own toppings. Both were equally delicious. After having yet another plate of food, duck pancakes, I decided to give myself a little break before moving onto the wie range of ice creams, which happens to be my favourite dessert. The main thing that I liked about the evening was that we never felt rushed, there was no pressure for us too finish our food as another tabe of people were waiting, we had as long as we liked to finish our food and enjoy the the night. The only thing that I could be picky about is the prices of the drinks, but then again what do you expect in the centre of Leeds on a Saturday night.
Overall the restaurant was a brilliant choice and well worth the money. I would be happy to go there again, and furthermore, look forward to trying some dishes that I did not have the chance to taste this time round! x
